HMHG-II-E Series Harmonic Reducer
The HMGH-II-E series harmonic reducer features a compact machine structure with an input shaft connected to the inner hole of the wave generator through an integral cam. It offers the flexibility of both rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Principle of Harmonic Gear Transmission
The harmonic gear drive, invented by C.W. Musser in 1955, utilizes the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. By breaking away from traditional rigid component transmissions, this drive achieves unique functions. The deformation process of the flexible component is symmetrical and harmonic, hence the name. Known as a waveform drive or flexible wheel drive in some regions, it is commonly referred to as “harmonic drive” in countries like the United States, Britain, Germany, and Japan.
Harmonic Deceleration Principle
The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controlled elastic deformation of the flexwheel to achieve motion and power transmission. The rotation of the elliptic CAM in the wave generator causes the flexwheel to deform, enabling various types of tooth movements for efficient transmission from the wave generator to the flexwheel.

Bevel gearboxes
The fatigue life of bevel gearboxes in agricultural equipment is determined by the cumulative damage sums for different operations. A simulation model was used to assess the fatigue life of a spiral bevel gear. The accumulated damage sums for each operation were shown in figure 9a.
